This Saturday, Annecy, France’s Tecnica MaXi-Race hosts the 2015 IAU Trail World Championships. A collection of top athletes from a couple-dozen countries who have qualified via their own country’s standards are gathering to race the 85-kilometer mountain course.
iRunFar will be livecasting the event on iRunFar’s Twitter feed starting at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 30 (Central European Summer Time), which is 7:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time in the U.S. on Friday, May 29. We’re also combining our Twitter feed with other news sources in the feed below so you can watch all the action from the race in one place.

Note that the 85k world-championship event and the separate open 85k MaXi-Race are taking place on the same course on Saturday, with the world championships starting at 3:30 a.m. local time and the open event beginning 90 minutes later. Only runners taking part in the championship event–those who’ve previously qualified in their home countries to be a part of it–can score and place in it.
