Synopsis of Week’s Training:
Monday was a nice easy run, but for the first time in 6 weeks of pre-training, I felt awful on a run. Not ore, but just plain awful. Fortunately, I felt a mostly better on a social night at the track on Wednesday. Bad me missed Thursday cause I was out drinking too many called vodka martinis on Morgan Stanley. Friday started an unprecedented string of running with my sis… and I loved it. :-) I got home Friday evening and convinced my sister to go for her first night run … and in the rain no less! Saturday day Gretch and I toured the park we grew up in. Sunday will get its own post.

Monday – 5. Easy.
Tuesday – 6. Awful.
Wednesday – 5. Easy.
Thursday – Off. Partying.
Friday – 5.5. Easy with Gretch.
Saturday – 7. Easy with Gretch.
Sunday – 20. 11.5 miles before a 37:53 hilly 10k.

Easy runs during the week. Easy efforts on the upcoming long runs with an emphasis on recovery.
