While I’ve never run the Stranda Fjord Trail Race, I can speak to the beauty and terrain this Norwegian fjord has to offer, as I visited and ran there in 2015. In quick summary, the beauty is off the charts and the terrain is some of the most challenging I’m willing to tackle. (Thanks to my friend, Frode Lein, for coaxing me to the summit of Slogen!) As far as I can tell, most foreign tourists quickly pass through this spectacular area via cruise ship or tour boat. Well, two lucky iRunFar readers will get to challenge themselves on one of the Stranda Fjord Trail Races’s three courses–25km, 48km, or 100km–on August 8th, 2020. Each winner will receive a free entry into the race of their choice and two nights of hotel accommodation. How does that sound for a summer holiday?
To enter, simply fill out the form below by Tuesday, December 31st at 11:59 p.m. MT. One entry per person. (Duplicate entries will result in ineligibility.) This contest IS open globally.
Note, if you have difficulties entering via the form embedded below on a mobile phone or via iRunFar’s daily email updates, please click through to the article on iRunFar.com on a tablet or computer. Alternately, you can enter directly via this Google form. Thanks!
