Lake Sonoma 50 Mile logo.The 2019 Lake Sonoma 50 Mile kicks off at 6:30 a.m. U.S. PDT on Saturday, April 13 and will travel out and back around its namesake reservoir. The route contains about 10,500 feet of climbing with course records are held by Stephanie Violett (7:08:23, 2015) and Jim Walmsley (5:51:16, 2018). This year, Lake Sonoma will be the penultimate chance for a couple top runners to run their way into this year’s Western States 100 via the Altra Golden Ticket Series.
